One thing we need to do is get Neil tied down to a longer contract

We've just been promoted and are sitting 5th in the championship the club have backed Neil with some very good signings I don't get your post tbhWouldn’t blame him if he did leave. The useless pricks in positions of power at our club don’t know their arse from their elbow.
Must be quite disconcerting to have meetings with the Napoleon Dynamite/Robyn Arryn hybrid and his band of merry men.
Well that didn’t helpThanks for the PM (you know who you are).

Yeah…I know how bookies work.People still don’t understand how bookmakers work do they![]()
They have wealthy owners but they spunked money as badly as we have, without results, and have had to pay off their latest managerial casualty. I feel like they are offering him a better work environment rather than purely financial gainsWe can’t be naive about this. We’ve been a basket case of a club for years. Yeah we should be aiming to be Premier League but Stoke were there not too long ago. They might be selling him all kinds in terms of transfer budget and his own salary. That’s why we need him on a long-term deal which should’ve been sorted a while ago.
That would also be entirely accurateHas to be the most lazy journalism I've ever seen
Might as well have written; "everyone is panicking on twitter that he might leave"
Don’t be a pussy manCrazy if this happens honesty feel sick.
Indeed. We will find out in the next few hoursUltimately the rumours could be shut down at a stroke. Longer that doesn't happen the more likely he is going
SpannerThanks for the PM (you know who you are).

Are the Athletic usually reliable with you?
I just don't get it. I'm as passionate and partisan as they come with Stoke, but equally respectful to other clubs and would like to think astute enough to realise the potential of both of our clubs. I just don't see what's in it for him to leave you for us?
Preston years ago with respect I could see, but not this move.
We can't even put tickets in the post or open a small shop. We're not going to be quick out of the blocks shutting down rumours.Ultimately the rumours could be shut down at a stroke. Longer that doesn't happen the more likely he is going

I'd have enjoyed watching us play the style Stoke did in the early years under pullis. Apart from the thugs at centre half you played decent exciting football. After 5 years of improvement in terms of style, attacking intent, results and league placings, yes. Lost his way in the end like many can.
It just gets tiresome being a supporter of a club where you are pigeon holed with certain managers just because of the success of one man 14 years ago.
pm?Thanks for the PM (you know who you are).
