Then the club should have told him. Stop pissing us about. And moved on. The clubs problem was they panicked and probably panicked further when they saw the fan base wanted Keane. They should have just stuck to their guns and moved on to Neil quicker

absolutely this. He's probably a better long term appointment than Keane, but nowhere near as inspiring for the fans. And we threw away 6 points to achieve nothing except getting fans hopes up.

Have either of you read owt from the Preston fans, Roker Report, etc?

I knew nowt about him, and was underwhelmed. The more I read, the more I'm convinced he's a very good fit and will do a good job here. He's nowt like Grayson, Parky, etc.

When I was told yesterday AN had the job I did contemplate not putting it on here just in case it fell through (which happens in football)
But I just thought f**k it ! It's solid info from inside the camp, if it turns out different then so what, I've posted in to try and keep posters in the loop and certainly NOT for any kudos, cause that shit means nowt to moi !
