Haway man Preston are a club with a proud history and have been a solid Championship (second division) club for most of my lifetime. We've yo yo-ed ourselves so are only marginally better. There are clubs in our league that are small fry but they are a league higher, finished quite high up under Neil and did well and it's disrespectful to scoff at them. When Grayson joined us from them we went down while Neil made them a force.

They did. Stoke wanted him and he stayed loyal to Preston. He was also heavily linked with WBA although not sure it got as far as an official approach like with Stoke.
