Because as I keep on saying, time and time again rags both national and local come up with names of consortium's who they think the more gullible Sunderland fans who are desperate for any good news will swallow as people who may be "interested" and time again we never hear anything after a few days once "diligence" is done. Then it starts again with a whole new consortium. Nothing happened the first time. Nothing happened the second time. Nothing happened the third time. So why should I believe the fourth?

So even though loads of people on here, who have mates at the club, not because they're supreme ITK superstars but because it's a big local employer, get information about what's going on as everyone does in some way whichever organisation you work for, are all part of a wide ranging conspiracy to hoodwink the masses?

No-one is going to contradict you for not believing anything in the rags,but that still doesn't mean that there hasn't been any contact which the rags may not even be aware of. Several intelligent people on here who do get some information with a basis of truth in it have said there has been contact. It may or may not lead to anything,but don't be so negative,man.

It is the newspapers who are part of a wide ranging conspiracy to take them in and emotionally scam them. The fans just choose to believe it. I doubt so many fans have so many contacts who just so happen to be part of the very consortium's interested in the club. don't. I refuse to be taken in and I am reviled for it.

So the people on here who heard at the time about the German consortium from people at the club before your grand Fleet Street conspiracy took hold and know for a fact that there have been meetings in recent weeks and months with interested parties now, are they to be discounted?
