5th test the oval

Going to be hard graft trying to take 9 wickets with 3 seamers. The 5th test in a row bad selection costing us.

There is simply no way Jimmy should of played a bowler coming off 3 poor tests at his worst ground in England what was the thought process where he was going to come good.

Hope he takes a hateful but more likely 4 wickets in 4 tests.
He will get a couple

If they can limit the run rate to 3.5 (would need Head and Marsh early), even if they bat all day we'd probably only be 60 odd behind, not the worst deficit and certainly something we could look to overhaul and set a 240+ chase on day 4

I hope he takes a few hateful Aussies as well, mate! 😉

For all the good they've done us during the series. We've had so much of the best conditions.

Yet Headingley morning session and that evening session after the rain delay is about it.
We probably have, but the most important conditions that effected the result more than any others, was the rain conditions in the last test that undoubtedly robbed us of been level in the series

Well I didn't watch much of yesterday. Was in London for work so wrong for me to be critical of what I didn't see.

So I'm still hopeful a Jimmy classic would be great.

Typical England, nowhere near enough deliveries that the batsmen have to play at. It’s no good racking up maidens if they’ve not had to play a shot

This is tiresome….Australia are just strolling to winning the series as things stand.
Unless they get bored, I am struggling to see England getting enough wickets to force a win.

Yeah…I know it is just day 2….it is just a feeling I have.
