It was a valid decision. It didn't work out but they didn't have the benefit of hindsight at the time. If Australia had lost a couple of quick wickets it would have been called a genius decision.
If we could hold catches no-one would discuss the declaration - dropped catches are costing us
Bazball has been the issue imo, gifted them the first two wins through gifting them wickets
That went wellbe lucky to make 120 at this rate
Which further asks the question why play Bairstow as keeper if he's not fit either.Stokes body is breaking down
Aye apart from winning 11 out of last 13 tests coming into this series and current world champions at 50 over and T20 cricket!!!England are just not very good at this cricket malarkey, bit like football as well, it's our way, gallant losers when it comes to the real business.
makes you question why they went so so many stupid shots in this and the last test when if you just play steady and sensible, you can make runs, just at a slower paceThat went well![]()

Not sure what your definition of not very good is mate, but I would definitely say the above is the complete opposite of it?
Aye agree with all of this. Before "bazball" we were an absolutely woeful side that couldn't win at all. With this new style we are atleast looking like putting together enough runs to be competitive in the vast majority of innings. This biggest difference in my opinion has been our fitness and taking our chances.
The new system requires players to do as little/as much practice the players feel they need before matches. For athletes at the top of their game that doesn't seem to be a good way of doing things and our fielding suggests that we haven't done a lot of practice!
Well I know mate, just common sense.
You and your facts!
