From what I’m aware of, Whiteleas losing players has nothing to do with South Shields having shares in the welfare.

From what I’ve heard. There has been a lot of fall outs between players and their chairman acting up on social media. A lot to do with the NUFC/ SAFC divide. Self inflicted damage. Feel for certain individuals who have put a lot of time and effort into their club.

Guess that says a lot about the maturity of the players there if true.

Breaking up and losing your players over that is ridiculous tbh.

Spoke to an official of Seaham Park today.
They have signed a Pakistani pro but have "lost", Anthony Watson, Micky Walker, Mark Race and Adrian Hedley.

Do you know where they are going ?

Drip to Philli
Walker and Racey to Boldon CC
Hedders to Ryhope

was what if heard....
Hedley should do some damage at Ryhope with the short boundaries. Our young'un was hitting them to the far end of the bowling green and tennis courts a couple of years back in the U18s.

God knows how far he'll hit them.

He was there a few years back, so there are probably a few stories out there already.
As good a player as Hedley still is he's a bit of a wasted talent. Could have easily played premier league if he fancied it imo
He played for Seaham Harbour a couple of years back in the premier league but take your point, the long days and commitment that goes along with it doesnt suit everyone

He had the ability to play higher than that . Loads of talent

Sad news to hear about the Whiteleas situation.

The big exodus at The Park could be getting worse with rumours of Sample leaving as well. I know he’s contemplating offers elsewhere.

Another paid player. Must have a canny budget at Burnmoor. Good luck to them and hopefully they continue to give South North some competition
I'm sure they failed on a number of occasions last season to fulfil fixtures. Not the 1st team mind.

The club are excited at the prospect of seeing 2 more former first class cricketers who have agreed to ply their trade at the home of Champions! The signing of Nicky Peng (Durham CCC & Glamorgan CCC) and Michael Foster (Yorkshire CCC & Durham CCC) helps add the experience we sorely need! Good luck to both players!

Or does Alec bank roll them?

bar isn’t that busy compared to cls for example
Do a little on sunday lunches but little else food wise. These have only recently restarted. Few functions but not that much
Their money is not coming via the clubhouse

Youth policy coming along nicely there then.....
