You know what strange flex i’ve picked up this last few weeks re People telling you how they have been ripped off for X Y Z. I’ve come to the conclusion they are not bemoaning inflation, they are not berating themselves for not checking prices beforehand. It’s ACTUALLY a form of subconcious boasting in many cases.

I was in the pub paying for a round for spitfire & myself, saw my Apple Pay payment history & thought WTAF.

Boasting is more like paying £2.30 for a pint of Carlsberg or £2.90 for Stella like I did in mill view club the other week!

disagree personally Gavin. And not saying youve boasted specifically in this instance but much of the bemoanong cost of living

“Omg I got a takeaway and it came to £46” and “we are going to Greece for a week and this year it is costing £9273 which is ridiculous” is just a form of boasting, i’m sure of it.
