i wouldnt have thought so..because he said the £2.5m was to players no longer here..the recent alvarez payment was to a club? This. Plus, isn't part of the extra 2.5m include payments for this Alvarez fiasco too?

Could we not just of hired a hitman and saved some money?
No he did say mostly though.didnt say all were gone..and started with the mention of a loss of £3m which the paras will cover..
why would ruiter have got a payoff? he ws out of contract? same with mathews?I reckon Love, Oviedo and Cattermole pay-offs will be over 2 years, a bit like McGeady's new deal. The big movers would be Matthews, Honeyman, Ruiter and Kone (I'm guessing we aren't contributing to his wages anymore)
Read it properly before trying to come across like a smart arse know it all like in everyone of your posts.eh? one of hhem on their own was earning £40k a week and there are three of them..they will have been eearnings about 90k a week between them
i did read it completely wrong yes...Read it properly before trying to come across like a smart arse know it all like in everyone of your posts.
He's meaning wages saved.why would ruiter have got a payoff? he ws out of contract? same with mathews?
they arent payments to players to entice them to leave..they were leaving anyway..
why would honeyman have to got one-he moved to a higher division?
why would they pay guys termination payments that save them zero cash?
I never said they got a pay off. They were out of contract so their wages are off the books. Just like Honeyman's and Kone's.why would ruiter have got a payoff? he ws out of contract? same with mathews?

they paid off existing debt. What legacy transfers are we still paying for with the parachute payments this year?
It seems like it’s an excuse used every year.
I get that we needed to cut costs and last seasons paid off debts.
But surely we haven’t spent enough over the last couple of years to use all the parachute payments again this year.
That was last season. Where has this seasons been used?they paid off existing debt.

doubt they have had it yet? when does payment come through? also £3m of losses..and some of i still left/..That was last season. Where has this seasons been used?
I dunno mate, but the debt to SBC was about 40 millions and last years parachute payments were less than that. Probably another installment on the Alvarez stupidity. Or maybe just paying off some of the other running costs. I am sure the timing costs of a club our size are pretty large even before you factor in the absolute clusterfuck the previous regime left us in.That was last season. Where has this seasons been used?
We'd be paying more if likes of Catts were still here and seeing out their contracts. We're paying 2.5 million to players not even at the club when others league one entire team budgets are 3 million.
Pretty ridiculous situation we're still in.
£26m

A real success story.
Methven and Donald should be lauded for what they've achieved. I don't care what folk say.
Clusterfuck you're not wrong!
Is it the £10 mil or £12.5 mil which counts towards FFP in league 1?
