He meant the £2.5m works out at £48k a week... meaning that's much less than the £90k a week saving from those 3.

That's what I mean, If we paid the equivalent of £48k a week to get rid of them, then we've saved a canny wedge. Players have been quite reasonable given they could have stayed putt and earned more money

woyld be stupid of the club to do that...we have headroom with the para money this year to make the payments..no para next year..so far more sensible to get it all done now..

At that level of playing budget, the club is financially stable, running at around £3million a year operational loss - the last parachute payment is mostly allocated to the final historic transfer fees and legal matters - pre-player trading.
