It was Blue Nun, Liebfraumilch or Lambrusco! That was it!!!
 
Drink beer on a weekend but switch to red wine with the wife once I've had about four cans.

Depends what you're having it with, time of year, what you're in the mood for but: NZ and Saffer Sauvignon Blanc are always nice, Albarino is another nice white wing that goes with most things, Pinot Noir is a lovely red grape especially in the French, NZ and occasionally California aisle. I'm partial to an Argentinian Malbec as well.

I'm a recent convert to Spanish vermut after being introduced to it on a recent trip to Valencia.

Previously I had only associated vermouth with martinis rather than a drink on its own.

The Spanish place in the big market has a really good selection.

Tried several a few weeks ago and my favourite so far was the padro & co clasico.

Tried to buy a bottle but it's not easy to find in the UK without paying a fortune.
 
Have a bit of a soft spot for Chenin Blanc at the moment. Something I would always overlook as it was the cheap and cheerful option on a wine list but there are some wonderful examples out there. The old vine stuff from South Africa is really interesting.
