He’s not the answer in my opinion, yes he’s great at holding it up etc but he has 6 goals all season.

Bloke rarely finds the right position ie front post and rarely shoots - presume he's been told to hold the ball up

He is what he is he will score goals and miss a fair few he might have a purple patch season at some point but doubt he will do it year in year out. His positioning, shots and speed need a lot of work, last one is simply not his game because he is not built for it.

I reckon both Talbi and Diarra will kick on next season, both young and getting experience.

I’d like to see Isidor played up alongside Brobbey, whether it be a two up top or Isidor coming in off the wings, if them two could click together it could solve a problem. Would also give Isidor a chance to show he can be valuable next season.

Talbi yes, he's young, quick, scores spectacular goals, he'll become a success I think.
Diarra never strikes a ball cleanly, so I don't think he'll suddenly start scoring loads. His energy is useful, but without the final ball I can't see him making a huge impact.

Definitely needs someone closer to him. He's brilliant at laying the ball off too, so it would benefit whoever it was alongside him.

We need some fresh tactics. Our play at the moment looks stale and predictable.

Last couple of games we have hardly played the ball into him.

Has unique qualities with his strength and hold up abilities but I’m getting the feeling that opposition clubs are sort of working us out. Only a handful of players are actually able to compete legally with him…I thought Milenkovic did well on Friday, Mings and Konsa also Lacroix of Palace. The others are constantly fouling him and refs are ignoring it. The issue we have is that our wings are largely redundant and no-one is playing off Brobbey effectively. The two defence splitting passes from Le Fee against Villa and the man running through are the blueprint but unfortunately that wasn’t Brobbey on the pitch at that time.

This^^^ play it into his feet and play off him around the box....it's not rocket science. We hardly use Brobbey at all.

I think in order to do that properly, RLB would have to change the formation. I don't think he's ready to do that just yet.

Whether its the wingers or someone in midfield, someone need to step up and enters Brobster's orbit. Whenever someone has done that, something happens.

Is that not where Diarra should be? We only rolled it once into Brobbey's feet last Friday on the edge of their 18yard box. Not good enough that. Every ball is a massive battle for him. No the wonder he gets knackered early every game.

He's done well given the few genuine chances he gets. We've massivelly fallen of the cliff defensively recently. We need to go back to what we were doing the first 10/50 games at the start of the season.

We need a strong inside forward type player on one of the wings who isn't expected to help out defensively massively. obviously the other side, you'd need a more tracking winger for balance i think. RLB likes his wide attackers to be tracking back as well but this doesn't help the lone striker.

I agree….I think Isidor is a cracking player in a two upfront would love to see it. Loved it at times when Mayenda and him were both on the park at the same time. Especially Coventry away in the playoffs.

Sick of seeing constant reminders of how racist Sunderland has become. I've deleted Facebook because of how rife it's become, and it's pissing me off seeing it every day
