Ah that’s good then. As I could see it leading to a lot more sendings off.

I think in Brobbys case, the ref probably wasn’t certain on either yellow of wrong doing and so he decided not to issue the second yellow, but if VAR are only looking at the second incident in isolation then they may determine it to be worth of a yellow, which I thought would be unfair if the first card isn’t also reviewed and rescinded.
 
He was running full pelt and Romero ran across his path. If he didn’t put his arms out, if would have been him colliding with the keeper - who would have come off a lot worse than he did
 
You can analyse any match and you will see an instance where a player should have been sent off. If refs and Var did their job. This is without the biggest problem which is around man handling in the box.
