Finishing 6th

If we've wrapped up top 5 and reach the EL final, there's no way we are going full strength v Liverpool a few days before the final and there's no way we won't be hung over as f*** at City the game after.

Basically, there's a good chance of us finishing 5th IF we progress in the Europa

So if that happens and we did manage to win the thing, whilst finishing 5th, then 6th place gets CL.

However, we just need to focus on Bologna before we even think of trying to beat Sunderland which is not going to be easy at all. And then we take it from there.

In short, there's no reason SAFC can't get at least a European spot of some sort.
Does this mean Conference League will be 9th?

Unlikely we will finish that high.

We have some tough games coming up, and crap though Spurs were, we won by a single goal that had a huge deflection, only mustering 2 shots on target.

We have been far far better than anyone expected. Right from Palace away in our 4th game, it was clear did not look out of place in the Prem. Man City away is perhaps the only time we have looked outclassed. But we need an excellent run of results to get 6th, and I can not see that coming unfortunately.
West Ham, Fulham, Arsenal and Liverpool we looked second best, unsurprisingly against 3 of those
The Fulham game was very disappointing
But for our inaugural season back we have been infeasibly good
As I have said elsewhere à priority for us next season is to learn how to play effectively when Xhaka inevitably misses a game(s)
This is something Ghisolfi and RLB need to get their thinking caps on about

Get something against Man U and only 1 double against us this season.

If arsenal and villa finish in the top 5 and both win their respective European tournaments they’re in then I’m sure the champions league qualification goes down to 7th,I’m maybe wrong on that mind but think that’s how it works

They'd take the league place and wouldn't add extra positions
Liverpool need to win the champions league and villa the europa and finish 5th and 6th respectively for the qualification league places to go to 7th apparently,I was wrong when mentioning arsenal

None of our players at risk of a ban of have been for months in the league?

It was 5 yellow cards up to 19th game of the season
It was 10 yellow cards up to the 32nd game of the season
It's now 15 yellow cards up to the final game of the season.

Trai Hume picked up his 9th against Spurs and so is safe from a ban unless he picks up 6 yellows in each one of the remaining games.

Then would miss the first 3 games of next season
Xhaka and Sadiki were both on 4 yellows v Man City

Sadiki has 7 this season, Granit 5.

Unless they pick up 8 yellows and 10 yellows respectively in the five games before the final one of the season, they'll be alright for Chelsea. 😆

Yeah and then there was that lucky goal against Newcastle, then that lucky refereeing decision against leeds, and really Mayenda was offside against bournemouth, and if you think about it burnley arent even that good anyway so the 3 goals dont count, and palace were distracted by europe, so really we’re just f***ing shite relegate us, why even bother?

Agreed. Would take 10th, massive achievement.
