Finishing 6th

Unlikely we will finish that high.

We have some tough games coming up, and crap though Spurs were, we won by a single goal that had a huge deflection, only mustering 2 shots on target.

We have been far far better than anyone expected. Right from Palace away in our 4th game, it was clear did not look out of place in the Prem. Man City away is perhaps the only time we have looked outclassed. But we need an excellent run of results to get 6th, and I can not see that coming unfortunately.

Probably because our 2 main midfielders couldn't put a tackle in...Newcastle the following week and both were one booking away from a suspension.

Every week something like this gets posted. And then we win

If we've wrapped up top 5 and reach the EL final, there's no way we are going full strength v Liverpool a few days before the final and there's no way we won't be hung over as f*** at City the game after.

Basically, there's a good chance of us finishing 5th IF we progress in the Europa

So if that happens and we did manage to win the thing, whilst finishing 5th, then 6th place gets CL.

However, we just need to focus on Bologna before we even think of trying to beat Sunderland which is not going to be easy at all. And then we take it from there.

In short, there's no reason SAFC can't get at least a European spot of some sort.

None of our players at risk of a ban of have been for months in the league?

It was 5 yellow cards up to 19th game of the season
It was 10 yellow cards up to the 32nd game of the season
It's now 15 yellow cards up to the final game of the season.

Trai Hume picked up his 9th against Spurs and so is safe from a ban unless he picks up 6 yellows in each one of the remaining games.

Then would miss the first 3 games of next season

If we can repeat our results from the reverse fixtures of the next three games (Villa - Draw, Forest - Win, Wolves - Win) it makes those final 3 games almost like knockout games for that 6th spot.
