I'm not saying tippy tappy football.I totally disagree u18s should be where they are starting to really learn how to win football matches. They are pretty much 1 step away from senior football.
These lads will have been in the Academy system since 7 or 8 years old learning how to play "properly". So u18s should really to know the jeopardy of losing and be held accountable for it.
How are they going to survive in the real world of men's football if they are protected from it all the way to u21s
Actually, it's ridiculous saying properly football. Whatever that means. All thud tippy tappy stuff is a fad and is currently being replaced by winning football
I mean actually being able to pass the ball rather than just hoof it.
I'm guessing if they find they can't pass the ball from u18 they won't make the step up as we don't want to play like 90s Wimbledon
