Has there ever been a more overrated player and manager than him. [Scott Parker]
Both as a player and a manager the press just bull him up constantly. They and him never say it’s his fault, club owners need to stop get taken in by it, he believes his own hype so badly
He should have said the opposition were ruthless in attack and kept us at bay defensively. Top teams have come here and struggled, Instead he just spouted about how poor they were.
Was he right? Were they just a shambles and we didn’t really play that well?

They were shite but thats also due to how well we bossed it. you dont score 3 if you dont play well, even if the opposition is crap

Of course they love him, he locks out one of the PL relegation spots regularly to keep the status quo up there...
There's also the nepotism of being a Londoner who played for 5 x London clubs, Londoncentric journo's lap that up.

Always had a soft spot for Burnley through friends.
So I'm biased but think they have a really good, loyal fan base and a credit to a population that is the smallest in the PL by a mile (a few keyboard kermits notwithstanding but we've all got them).
Hope they stay up but it's looking very grim.
I think we prefer burnley to blackburn, if that helps.

From their 15 game non winning streak we have the best result. Says more about us than them. We were at it from the start and didn’t give them a look in. They didn’t offer much in an attacking threat but again, even the better teams struggle to break is down.

I remember when we took about 700 to Everton on a Tuesday night in the PL and then a few years later had 6000 there.
Years later being the operative word there. This is a year apart. Huge game for them yet it was easily the smallest turnout, I’d say Huddersfield brought pretty much the same number up. Was as strange as their teams performance. If they’d had beaten us they were right back in it. Seems fans and players have thrown in the towel.

Think it was 2010 for the league game and 2012 for the FA cup game. So 2 years later.
Their fans probably have given up as they know they're down.

Exactly, but he never mentioned the opposition. I think that was due to the hiding they had just received.
