Burnley Forum

They seem quite bitter -always liked them as a club ( well supported by their town when surrounded by bigger clubs )
They seem desperate to find reasons why we are doing well other than the fact we are in fact a half decent team /set up well with good players who never give up.. You need a bit of luck but we didn’t get a blatant hand ball v Everton or else we would have had 2 more points so “ swings and roundabouts “ as they say.
Long long way to go but so far so good

Some decent comments tbh

I also think Burnley and Leeds have started decent they should have more points than they do thankfully they’ve both dropped points at the end

I think you could make an argument with some comments over any team and how they are doing, but after 11 games to be sat in a champions league position is not a fluke. We are very much here on merit and have did so not just by okaying one way worthier, as well as rotating players and the use of our subs has been nothing short of a masterclass from the manager. The factor in how we have recruited and it is very clear we are very good at what we do. Long may it continue.

Look at our games against them last season and they were far from a long way behind us.

They realised they had no hope of top 2 early kn and went onto the beach a little targeting the play offs. If it clicked for them a little earlier last season then they would have challenged at the top, instead they played a blinder and rested for the play offs and it showed.

This poster knars

Still a long long way to go
Fulham seem to be dragged into the mire. WHU win again
I realise it’s heresy to suggest that survival is what we should be happy with
I think it should, especially at this stage. We have a lot of difficult fixtures in December and early January, together with the loss of afcon players, I suspect we will lose games and our points cushion a bit. Hopefully, we can add to it before them.
The most important results for us are the teams getting beat at the bottom.
