It would be unfair to expect him to play another full 90 v City after just three days rest. He might start but perhaps 09 will come on for him. It’s a rumour ffs.
He was average today, made the runs Reinildo would’ve. I imagine that’s been drilled into them though.
He didn’t disgrace himself. Thought he did well personally, for a lad who hasn’t played 90 minutes for what? A year or so?
Yes at home asleep! While leaving huge gaps on his flank!! Why do you thnk every manager targets him??? Cos his positional awareness is disturbing
Lots of players wear them, whether it's providing psychological support or actual support who cares, does it impact you in any way? Why’s he still wearing a bandage on a wrist injury that happened over a year ago? He seems a proper wet wipe like. An U21 player told me a few months ago that he’s problems are mental not physical.
I know but we playing cityGood job we aren't playing arsenal for a while
I would give him a 2 year deal. I think he is sufficient cover once fully fitStill hope he signs a new deal. Any news on that?
I think it's really cool how he calls a bloke he suspects of having mental health issues a wetwipe. Proper class that.Lots of players wear them, whether it's providing psychological support or actual support who cares, does it impact you in any way?
Felt like he was a bit too eager at times. He probably just got carried away in the heat of the moment, it happens. We had Brobbey, Le Fee and Rigg all starting the press. Cirkin has got to get back into position ASAP.
May 24th.Played the whole play offs final nowhere near a year ago
Not so with reg left back imoWe do the same with Hume quite often, tuck him inside and give up the flank to pack the middle. Don’t think it’s a Cirkin thing, I think it’s a Regis thing. Works well most of the time, but give away a silly ball high up the pitch and you give away a chance. Same with the keeper pushing up.
The three forwards in a high press need to put a shift in, they don’t. The Leeds defence were just ambling out with the ball under no pressure whatsoever. RLB needs to have our forwards watching a few videos of Ian Rush in his Liverpool days. He ran his tits off not giving defenders a second.I'm not privy to what goes on during our training sessions, but, one of the things that I've noticed is that it tends to be the nearest player to the 'keeper that presses them. That's why, yesterday, it was mostly the striker pressing, but, was also Le Fee, Xhaka, Rigg, Adingra, and Cirkin on one occasion. Again, not privy to what goes on, but, everyone knows the drill - someone presses the 'keeper, everyone else does their job. There was a fair bit of 'not doing their job' throughout the move that led to their goal. That or, it was a quite well worked goal by them - credit where credit is due.
It's the dinosaur mentality that persists with some folk.I think it's really cool how he calls a bloke he suspects of having mental health issues a wetwipe. Proper class that.
I'm sure RLB will study your criticism of his methods then wipe his a*se on themThe three forwards in a high press need to put a shift in, they don’t. Ha'way man, it's clearly the way the coaching staff want them to play, just because some Sunderland fans think you need to be running flat out constantly doesn't mean it is at all effective. The three forwards in a high press need to put a shift in, they don’t. No he has always got a mistake in him his positional sense is very poorHe’s never going to be Reinildo but he will have a part to play from now until the end of the season. People writing him off after one game is pretty poor mind. Cirken had he stayed fit and us not gone up would have got himself a prem move, let’s not forget this time last year he was being called the best left back in the championship.
It’s not constantly though. Only when the defence is in possession. It’s what good teams do. Isador, Mayenda and Brobbey don’t do it. They amble sideways across the pitch. You don’t let the back four have time on the ball.Ha'way man, it's clearly the way the coaching staff want them to play, just because some Sunderland fans think you need to be running flat out constantly doesn't mean it is at all effective.
He’s 8 years younger than Reinildo and has been playing at a much higher level than he was at this stage of his career. He’s got every chance of being as good. He’s never going to be Reinildo but he will have a part to play from now until the end of the season. People writing him off after one game is pretty poor mind.
