Leeds 28/12/25 thread

Expecting to steamroll us. Bit wierd really
I don’t think anyone has said anything close to that have they? Most comments have been fairly balanced and are expecting a tight game

Some of you need to move on from this victim mentality and thinking everyone has an issue with you…if you can’t then you’d be better off supporting one of the Liverpool clubs where they also love playing the victim

One Leeds **** brings another out from the sewer.

Where you been for most of the season lad?
You’re definitely in the need of a hard drive check
6-0 Leeds probably
Hope so

I have repeatedly said I would be happy with a point !

Speaking generally, Leeds fans are quite arrogant - would you not agree?

I do try to bring a bit of balance to the one sided views on here but sometimes fail and can't resist looking for a bite.

Trying to be fair I would say your good performances were.

Palace
Villa
Chelsea
Arsenal
Bornemouth
Newcastle
Liverpool
Brighton

Poor performances were.

Burnley
Fulham
Man City
Man Utd
Everton

Easy games were.

West Ham
Brentford
Forest
Wolves

Where I think you were a bit fortunate was having all the easy games early giving you the all important early self belief.

Would Leeds have done any better ? No I think we would have won the easy games, done the same as you in the poor games but not as well in the good games, we are probably on the number of points we should be as are you.

Most Leeds fans would take a point now against you we are just hoping to stay out of the bottom 3 until January when we hope to finish what we did not do in the summer window and buy a striker and right winger probably by selling Piroe.

You are I believe looking for the same although hopefully this time you will have your own targets and not pinch ours.

If we both stay up we will be entering the brave new world of SCR where our revenues of around £250m will be dwarfed by the £500 to £750m revenues of the big six.

The money generated from profit on player sales can be added to revenue but this can be a dangerous game to play when it fails and punishment kicks in for being over the 85% cap, far better to raise revenue and under SCR any incoming transfer fees will be spread over three years which is an important change.

Leeds being a one club city with a West Yorkshire catchment area of around 2 million think we might be able to grow our revenue to around £500m even without European football. I am not sure Sunderland a city of 300k living in Newcastles shadow can do the same, but knowing you lot you will have a good go.
We have much better recruitment than your team, hence why we’ve flown past you in one transfer window. Don’t worry about us, worry about West Ham as it’s your boys or them for 3rd bottom

You had a lot more money to spend as well which helps, although you will soon hit the SCR wall and profit on player sales spread over three years is not really much of a help. (£30m profit on a player only gives you £10m a year extra revenue which is peanuts in PL money terms).

With regards to relegation. I think Brentford, Bornemouth, Forest, West Ham, Burnley, Wolves and us are all in danger.

Won't we get a lot of money for finishing so far ahead of you?

Don't think it will make up this gap/ 😄

Sunderland AFC is expected to earn a total revenue of around £170 million this season Leeds United are expected to book over £260 million in total revenue for the current 2025-26 Premier League season

I think that's been said before the league started...

It’s not about how much you spend but how wisely you spend it
Look at our neighbours up the road
Spent hundreds of millions more than us but ……

We are in a very good PSR position
Well run club and all that

So we ever play two up under Le Bris? Can't imagine he'll start now, especially after seeing the lack of work rate from Isidor when he came on on Saturday.
Last season we played two up top with isidor and Mayenda on a few occasions. Hasn’t happened this season but anything is possible

Probably…but no more arrogant than a cross section of any ‘big’ club with a rich history and significant fan base - yourselves included. You honestly cannot tell me you come on this site and don’t shake your head at some of the toss that gets written and some of the arrogance that gets displayed on this very site by a few of the more moronic posters

Supporters of clubs like Bournmouth, Brentford etc are not like ours and that’s what makes them ‘nothing’ clubs

We’ve had decades playing with all the shit and based on the way we were run that is exactly where we deserved to be. However we still laugh at ourselves and embrace the whole Leeds are falling apart shit…

Anyway I prefer fiercely loyal to arrogant - I could change my job, my house, my wife, my sex (unlikely) or my religion. But I could never change my football club..

True but it is the last year of PSR after that it gets a lot simpler because SCR is done on a yearly basis where football wages and transfer amortisation costs must be no greater than 85% of revenue + profit on player sales (spread over 3 years). I recon your amortisation costs must by now be getting up to £45m with a turnover of probably around £200m probably leaves you with around £125m to spend on football wages which will be a bottom six type wage bill. Not been funny just pointing out some harsh future realities, unless you get in Europe and on the gravy train.

We’ll make massive profits on the players we’ve bought as they’re much better than what Leeds have bought. Don’t worry about us mate, worry about west ham
