Leeds 28/12/25 thread

Brazilian giant in goal.
Big bastard back 3 of Bijol, Struijk, Rodon,
PL hardest midfield 3 of Ampadu, Gruev, Stach.
Scariest PL front two of DCL and Nmecha
Bogle and Gudmundsson bombing down the wings.

Scared Sunderland 0 Dirty Leeds 2
Don’t know why but I found that quite funny

We’ll make massive profits on the players we’ve bought as they’re much better than what Leeds have bought. Don’t worry about us mate, worry about west ham

Massive ? If you sold Diarra for £50m his book value would be £24m so you would make £26m. Under SCR that £26m would be spread over three years giving you an extra £8.6m per year revenue lift. You are going to have to sell a lot of players to make a big difference to the SCR calculations !

Good it was meant to be funny.

2-1 safc

Don't think it will make up this gap/ 😄

Sunderland AFC is expected to earn a total revenue of around £170 million this season Leeds United are expected to book over £260 million in total revenue for the current 2025-26 Premier League season

I'm sure that I'm not the only one on the forum to notice the linguistic similarities and phraseology between @Undercover and @Peace .

I'm equally sure others have noticed the multiple personality schizophrenic @Peace ( allegedly from Holland, claims to support Sunderland, while slagging us and praising Leeds, and living in London) and his latest incarnation are one and the same person.

@Peace last posted December 7th, @Undercover joined December 8th.

Coincidence? I think not.

Anyway, on to the ignore list for him.

Really weird 🙄

I meant the notion of "SAFC having to make up an insurmountable gap" to reach Leeds was made before the league started.

IIRC Leeds fans were on here sagely informing us that our close season spending still wouldn't close the "quality gap" between our teams.
That’s exactly what was said. They’re looking a bit silly now

Yep it’s definitely the same geezer

True but it is the last year of PSR after that it gets a lot simpler because SCR is done on a yearly basis where football wages and transfer amortisation costs must be no greater than 85% of revenue + profit on player sales (spread over 3 years). I recon your amortisation costs must by now be getting up to £45m with a turnover of probably around £200m probably leaves you with around £125m to spend on football wages which will be a bottom six type wage bill. Not been funny just pointing out some harsh future realities, unless you get in Europe and on the gravy train.
Our squad must be worth an absolute fortune now
On talk sport tonight one presenter( out of 2) had 3 of our players in the best 11 of the season.
Roefs who cost 10 milllion
Ballard -2 million
Xhaka around 10 I believe
Incredible-when the division is awash with olayers costing 70-80 million
Think we will maybe sell one à season for a huge profit -Sadiki Alderete Nordi all probs worth top dollar after playing 15 or so games .( apparently Chelski and man utd looking at Sadiki )-most are in v long contracts so only big profits will tempt us
We are in a great place and from 25 points behind everyone else and a play off win we’ve recruited amazingly well
Oh and both had Reggie as manager of the season
The club is as one
I know many of you wanted Farke out recently but last 4 weeks has shown how strange football is

Again, I actually don’t think that’s a fair reflection. There may have been one or two comments but in the main most Leeds fans were extremely positive about your TW relative to ours. There was maybe a feeling you could have overpaid relative to a players worth at the time but most Leeds fans I speak to were praising of the speed you got deals done and the talent that came in. More so considering that you were not a fashionable club and you don’t carry the attraction of being London based

I think some people on this site need to move away from making sweeping generalisations like this one along with others that keep getting made on this forum

You must of won some games cos they were getting slated a month ago

I don’t think anyone has said anything close to that have they? Most comments have been fairly balanced and are expecting a tight game

Some of you need to move on from this victim mentality and thinking everyone has an issue with you…if you can’t then you’d be better off supporting one of the Liverpool clubs where they also love playing the victim
"Victim mentality"?
The bookies have had us as underdogs every game bar the Wolves match. No one gives us credit.
I was just commenting on the fact Leeds fans seem to be thinking its a gimme that they get 2 points against us.
Your post stinks of mag.
TBH we're Sun'lun, we dont give a shit what anyone else thinks abouts us

It’s all about results
The table doesn’t lie !

So that’s a Leeds fan on a Sunderland forum telling Sunderland fans what they should do on their forum -class !-

Bookies have it close Sunderland 6/4 Leeds 9/5. There’s so much positivity on here understandably well to yourselves why don’t you all take a festive boost and make a mint that’s simply an amazing price for a side unbeaten side at home against a team who’ve won once away this season against wolves.

What I suspect will happen is a load of noise about how good we are and how we will win but no securing the value by having a punt on the ‘easiest’ money ever is your follow up. 6/4 against a side that poor wow value !!

You’ve just said ‘no one gives us any credit’

BB has just posted about a Talk Sport presenter saying 3 of your players were in his top 11. I’ve watched MoTD and seen you get praised. Paul Merson was on Sky tonight saying what a great season. People have shared articles on this site that praise you

So yeah - in light of the above and when you say no one gives you ‘credit’, that smacks of victim mentality
