Anna von Hausswolff is magnificent. I’d forgotten how great she was
Tis goodMeant to comment on this. Bloody brilliant album!
Tis good
Anyway what gigs do we all have coming up?
Saw Marissa Nadler the other week, seriously talented but a bit dull
I’ve got a new band called Radiohead then Bill Ryder Jones, Sir Jeff Tweedy, Mogwai, dEUS, SFA and Kraftwerk
These New Puritans, Phew, Field Music, Boundaries Festival, My Bloody Valentine, Porridge Radio, Silver Nun, Stereolab.Anyway what gigs do we all have coming up?
Jealous of MBVThese New Puritans, Phew, Field Music, Boundaries Festival, My Bloody Valentine, Porridge Radio, Silver Nun, Stereolab.
Mogwai and bar Italia next year.
It's a farewell tour for Porridge Radio. Expect Dana will launch her solo career, but she's not said anything yet.Jealous of MBV
I thought PR had finished?
Mogwai at the Sage?
I’m coming up for the Gwai. I’ll get the secret smb handshake ready. It's a farewell tour for Porridge Radio. Expect Dana will launch her solo career, but she's not said anything yet.
Yeah, Mogwai is at Sage.
I got the very first SotNW (30? years ago), it opened a whole new line of alt. country music which has ultimately cost me a small fortune, which is ironic for a "free" CD.The new Uncut is worth buying for the cover CD BTW - Sounds of the New West vol 7.
Am very jealous of that dEUS gig and annoyed at them not playing Dublin on the tour. They usually do.Tis good
