New Music Releases Thread

For Those I Love have/has done it again. Stupendously good album.

I'm also liking Osees (bonkers as ever), Charley Crockett and No Joy (a new name to me but big in the Canadian shoegaze scene).

I am the boy who almost forgot (as Belle & Sebastian didn't ever sing). There are new releases on Friday from Alison Goldfrapp, Big Noble, Black Honey, Bret McKenzie, Cass McCombs, Chance the Rapper, Chevelle, Conan Gray, Jack Garratt, Marissa Nadler, Maroon 5, Molly Tuttle, Pile, Rise Against, Steve Gunn, Mae Powell and Chicago Underground Duo.

If you don’t like Low or mental stuff then dont

WH lung on Thursday should be good
Oh I love mental stuff. Admittedly a few years ago when I was recommended HMLTD by members of the thread, that didn’t quite land. But I maybe just saw them on an off day. Snapped Ankles were fun though.

WH Lung are also on my list. Seen them a few times and they’re always class

Green Man superb as ever, would recommend to all on the thread if they’ve never been.

No real disappointments except for Wunderhorse who felt the sound wasn’t working properly. Sounded good to me but lead singer decided to smash up the amp.
caroline had some sound difficulties earlier on which made them late on stage and then also maybe not at their best but once they got going it was very special.
Jasmine 4.t’s song craft and set was just utterly wonderful. Caused 2 little cries in the middle of her set, from me.
Yard Act as entertaining as ever.
Did a wander through all of the Saturday headliners and enjoyed Underword, English Teacher and Richard Dawson (it would’ve been hard to pick just one.)

There's new albums this week from lots of people, including Adrian Sherwood, Ciara, Deftones, Ghostface Killah, Hand Habits, Hunx & His Punx, Jon Batiste, Kathleen Edwards, Laufey, Mac DeMarco, Mariah The Scientist, Old Dominion, Pendulum, Sombr, Superchunk, The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Three Days Grace, TOPS, Water From Your Eyes, Scott Lavene, Wolf Alice, Pino Palladino & Blake Mills,Dean Johnson, Eve Adams, Benedict Maurseth, James Yorkston, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Rún, John Fogerty, Bobby Conn and Case Oats.

For 6 or 7 weeks, we have too much to listen to. There's loads there.

The new Uncut is worth buying for the cover CD BTW - Sounds of the New West vol 7.

There is too much constantly. I can’t keep up and give things time. Looking forward to the Water From Your Eyes.

I bought the new Uncut at the weekend (for the Bowie feature). I’ll give the CD a spin.
