They can just do as they please now I suppose as there's no big money at stake. That Kevin lad does alright helping others out . Punters come and go if you manage to get any at allNot enough bands know when to call it a day anymore. I remember the good old days when every week another band split up.
Besnard Lakes is topperRight then, there are new albums on Friday from Avery Tucker, Celeste, Flock of Dimes, Jay Som, Khalid, LANY, Madi Diaz, Mobb Deep, SOHN, The Antlers, The Besnard Lakes, The Wytches, Yellowcard, Brigitte Fontaine (a re-release), St Paul & the Broken Bones, Emily A Sprague, The Orb, The Necks, Charles Lloyd, Jerskin Fendrix, The Autumn Defense (a Wilco side project), Lorelle Meets The Obsolete and The Utopia Strong.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it as well.
Agree with you about Geese. I think they deliver on the hype. I probably preferred 3D Country to the new album, however.
Besnard Lakes is topper
Logon or register to see this imageRight then, firstly, I'm off to Thailand for work tomorrow so no idea how much of this lot I'll get to listen to but on Friday there are new albums from Bahamas, Big Wreck, Bon Jovi, Brain Washer, Brandi Carlile, Circa Waves, Dave, Demi Lovato, Home Counties, Just Mustard, Lily Allen, Mammoth, Miguel, People R Ugly, Serj Tankian, Sigrid, The Lemonheads, Tortoise, Bruce Springsteen (Nebraska 82), Imaginational Anthems vol. XIV: Ireland (a compilation of Irish guitar talent) and Amadou & Mariam (sadly, Amadou's last).
Enjoyed Of Monsters and Men, Tame Impala a bit 'meh'. Amadou and Mariam up nextThey're a cracking band.
is it a taylor style diss album?Well after listening to the new lily Allen album, feel David Harbour may be trying to get out of the Stranger things press tour
It's far more Raw and less subtleis it a taylor style diss album?
I saw an Instagram reel earlier that said something like “whatever is going on in your life right now, be thankful you aren’t David Harbour”.It's far more Raw and less subtle
just googled his name & one of the results was "Lily Allen: West End Girl review - you almost feel sorry for David Harbour".I saw an Instagram reel earlier that said something like “whatever is going on in your life right now, be thankful you aren’t David Harbour”.
Might give it a spin after the Lemonheads. I’ve always had a bit of a thing for Lily.
I thought that was just a joke about the speed of tortoises, but I can see on spotify it has a release date of 11th November. Someone must think delaying streams is a way to sell more copies. These days I do usually stream first then buy if I rate it highly enough.Tortoise seems to be delayed
