Get rid of a new starter on buttons and keep paying longer serving employees a lot more plus the contributions to their pensions, I don’t think so.They could just get rid of new starters though rather than paying decent redundancies.

Yeah that’s it mate, money made back in a few years. Thats why they are constantly asking staff to come up with cost saving ideas to save them hundreds of thousands per year and in return you get to stay at a hotel in seahamalways cheaper in long run to get rid of long term staff with better terms and conditions etc.
Also get rid of bad blood, peoples tuck in ways or have to much power / say / disruption.

What do you mean offered terms?I know 2 lads who have been offered terms but both have turned it down
I'm hearing only 70 odd have put in for it no where near the 250 they after and 3 leaders from same zone and shift have all put in for it doubt they let all 3 have it as that's all the experience gone

Should be 75k at least for 25 years service. People were getting 30k for 10 years service only 6 years ago (and that was man staff.)There is no offer it’s a set amount
