Forthcoming gigs.

Saw that. My fave Britpop band and they're excellent live. Jarvis is a one off! Would love to see them again but don't think I can afford it.
Never a fan but saw them at Leeds festival around 2000 and Jarvis had the crowd in his hands
like talking to him across a table ,great night

Huey Morgan Fun lovin criminals was the same

both charmers

Gonna try and get Pulp tickets so long as they’re not a ridiculous price. Saw them at Neighbourhood a couple of years back and they were fantastic

Struggled with FLC when I’ve seen them. Too many backing tracks. Think they didn’t bother with a bass player.

Depends when i suppose .First two albums were great and the shows around then were fairly mad .The keys ,trumpet guy played bass then ,even some guitar .Little bit of help from tapes i suppose

FLC without Huey seem to be doing ok and then he's decided to make a come back and take them on .Woudn't bother with either now

I thoroughly enjoyed one of the supports at The Reytons last night. He was a 20 year old lad from Doncaster called Freddie Halkon with his band. Well worth a listen if you enjoy indie guitar bands.

Doves at Boiler Shop a week on Thursday. Without Jimi Goodwin, though.

New album not released until the following day, unhelpfully…

Would love to say I’m off to see some cool, hip bands like Jaylers, El Pony Pisador, Super Suckers or Francesca Pidgeon ( canny bird no doubt ) but I’m an old fart so will have to make do with Jeff Lynne’s ELO final ever gig in Hyde Park in July.

The Supersuckers are ancient - they`ve been around for years

Attending gigs is about seeing bands that you enjoy playing their music live. Most of the bands that I go to see (I attended 33 gigs last year) would not be considered hip or cool but it doesn't stop me enjoying myself at the grand old age of 58.
