Forthcoming gigs.

Pantera on Wednesday in Leeds.

Looking forward to the support - "Power Trip" than Pantera.
I’m just about to head to Glasgow to see them tonight!

Got introduced to Cowboys From Hell as a teenager & never thought I’d get the chance to see them. Granted it’s not the original line up, but still one I’ve been wanting to tick off for years.

Good night?

The Bug Club @ Pop Recs, tonight - get yersels down. Really enjoyable band. Few tickets left.

Off to see Carly Pearce on Monday.

Yet another gig entailing travel and accommodation costs, seems the circuit is Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London.

We've got Lizz Wright at the Barbican on 18th March.
Sultan Stevenson and Soweto Kinch at the South Bank on 4th April.
Gregory Porter at the Albert Hall 29th April.
Teskey Brothers at Ally Pally on 10th July.
Sadly no Black Deer Festival this year.

Was at the album launch of the week ;) on Wednesday for Richard Dawson at The Lubber Fiend. He was under the weather, but was nothing less than great in his 45 minute set. Was free entry with new album purchase so excellent value. Tonight I'll be at Cobalt Studios for Nev Clay, The Horse Loom and Phil Tyler. Supposed to be finished by 10pm which is great as I'm off to Leeds tomorrow for Mogwai, Kathryn Joseph and Cloth.

Ironically 33 1/3 % discount.
😄
Love to say the savings paid for the London beer prices but at £8.50 a pint (IPA) at Brixton Academy & £7.75 (Neck Oil) at the Assembly Rooms, you can do the maths. Fortunately, both districts had local 'Spoons' nearby for cut-price pre-loading.

Peter Perrett was sublime, with a great band, & we were far from being the oldest in attendance.
Moqwai was like an out-of-body experience. Went back to the hotel with my head still ringing from the sonic assault - beautiful! They totally invoke an emotional response from their audience.
