Hilarious Grigg gets mentioned man. Signed for 3 f***ing million not 300.I remember similar being said when we made the statement signing of Will Grigg, just hope there isn't too much pressure and expectations put on this lad.
The people saying we were back and it was a statement of intent from the owners at the time. What's the connection between signing a midfielder that cost a major club over €20m and was statistically one of the best midfielders in a top 5 league to signing Will f***ing Grigg from Wigan?
It's not comparable in the slightest for me.The people saying we were back and it was a statement of intent from the owners at the time.
Just got to look back at this board to see the same sort of posts and excitement that we were going to piss League 1 with him in the team.
Like I say, hope we have to pay the £20m quoted for him, but I’ll be giving the lad time to settle.
I do wonder whether Speakman has something else up his sleeve. This is such a great opportunity to grab one of the automatic places.Whos next now
Need another transfer fix
How much credit for this signing goes to Speakman? Surely RLB has gone to him and asked about the possibility of signing Le Fee, he knows him really well and knows he’ll fit our style of play.I mean, this was just good business. We pick up his wages, which work out to 1.5M over the course of the season(well worth it to take a chance on promotion) and if we go up, we buy him for 20Mish and we have a player that probably is already Premier League standard.... This also, in my opinion, leaves us some flexibility to add a few more impactful loans.
Just wait, Speakman will get hoovered up by a larger club and those that were flaying him will blame KLD for letting him leave.
It’s a no lose situation for Enzo. How much credit for this signing goes to Speakman? Surely RLB has gone to him and asked about the possibility of signing Le Fee, he knows him really well and knows he’ll fit our style of play.
Yes Speakman and KLD have to put the deal together and put up the money but Le Fee would’ve been open to the possibility of reuniting with RLB so not a difficult deal to pull off. Not sure if he’d have been on our radar were it not for Le Bris.
Right back is our priority in my viewThis is a major signing but needs backing up. We need cover up front and wide if we are truly going for it. KTF
Huggins can’t be far away now?Right back is our priority in my view
Dont get carried away lads, remember this is Sunlun and its a seaburn big dipper ride.
When we get dubbed 'the team of all talents' and 'Bank of England' club again then we are back.
Seen this sleeping giant stir a good few times.
It's exciting times like.
With a team that has a backbone of local lads and youngsters that seem connected and get the fans and the region. This for me, folk stressing about what may or may not happen depending on if we go up or not.
Just enjoy the ride, for once the club has a plan and a very exciting young team.
Post WW2 (excluding Reid & Keane) this is probably the most exciting time following the lads.
Dinnar like, the cheer up peta reed days were canny not forgetting 73.This for me, folk stressing about what may or may not happen depending on if we go up or not.

Don't worry the pessimists will be back at the first sign of storm clouds. However as a life long fan I'm positive this is a game changing transfer as the Leeds and Burnley podcasters are predicting. I will put my money where my mouth is by betting on automatic promotion.I hate the way that people tempt fate
Just be miserable and expect rain clouds. Anything else is a bonus
Has no-one learned anything from watching Sunderland?
Hopefully to the first question and definitely to the second. Two questions in my mind:
Can Le Fee stay hamstring injury free?
Can he mix it with the big boys in the Championship?
He’s slotting into a team that is way better than the one Grigg joined so hopefully no pressure just enjoyment for the lad, back to playing at his best.I remember similar being said when we made the statement signing of Will Grigg, just hope there isn't too much pressure and expectations put on this lad.
HelloSunlan are back, Sunlan are back, Sunlan are back

Agree with the time to settle bit,The people saying we were back and it was a statement of intent from the owners at the time.

Hope your right but got that feel that like us, their Wembley jinx has to end sometime and this is where they finally win a trophy. The Mags aren't shitting it.
But they did spend the last few decades telling everyone that there was something special about the club, a unique relationship between club and supporters, a history and culture that set them aside from other teams. They were geordies and anyone else just divvent understand
And one day along came so authoritarian billionaires who offered them a deal - they would buy them the most expensive players in the world, guarantee them major trophies and all they had to do in return was let the billionaires take a public shit all over their history and culture and values
But in a twist that wasn't a shock to anyone but the mags the billionaires didn't buy them the most expensive players, and they didn't win any major trophies. They had been conned.
But rather than admit they had been made to look like chumps they spent their time posting shit about Sunderland instead
I hope not, the arrogance is bad enough winning nowt, imagine what it will be like if they win the lesser trophy. Thankfully Arsenal will beat them at their place or Liverpool will in the final.Agree with the time to settle bit,
