Jack Clarke

Getting divorced was life changing for the old FY fund like, but I got a premier league move and the fund is mair than back.
Didn't have an agent to pay either.
Jacksy made the right move as far as I'm concerned same as Rossco, he was never going to make good money with us.
And also unlikely to play in the top flight with us.

I have no grudges with players who did a great job for us and left for a tidy profit. I hope Clarke and Stewart go on to have good careers apart from when they play us.

It's a link that's going to come up more if he continues to struggle there and we sustain our position in play-offs. He's an excellent player at this level, but him leaving has paved the way for two very bright prospects in Mundle/Watson. We should be thinking about how we can use those two in the same team when they're both fit, rather than looking to throw another left winger in there which would possibly just stagnate their developments.

Side note: reading some of the Ipswich fans comments on Clarke. I don't like seeing him get that amount of stick, when he's been in/out of a struggling side, hasn't really had a fair crack at it at all and they aren't even using him right as they've stuck him more centrally. But some of their fans seem to be writing him off, which I don't think is fair. Having said that plenty of our fans were writing Watson off a week ago, so maybe that's just football fans for ya
I think that just about sums it up. I'd be pleased for him to do well, same with Ross Stewart. Southampton fans must be really disappointed.

Doubt we will see Rossco play against anyone,Jacksy only if we draw them in the cup next season when we are in the prem.

Will he engineer a move away from Ipswich when they go down or will he be playing back in the Championship next season?

When we played ipswich at home last season never in a million years did I think they were capable of getting promoted automatically. I actually thought they looked like relegation candidates... they look dead certs for it this season!

Without sounding like a cliche, we had two players ready to step up and take Jack's place. Someone was interested, and we sold for a large profit. Thats how we operate, and with the right signings the club will move forward.
