Jack Clarke

Think its been a bad move... and their fans have not been to supportive of him. All those nightmares of his time at spurs most possibly coming back to dog him... you have to wonder what does he need to get his game back on track... hope he sacks off harte
He needs to play in a team that utilises his strengths. When he was here he hugged the touchline and carried us up the pitch and did it very well whereas at Ipswich he seems to be tucked in more and this doesn’t suit him. I wonder why they bought him as it doesn’t seems like he fits into their style of play at all.

Possibly the poorest signing we’ve made, watched him a lot for you and he genuinely looks like a different player now. Most players get better under McKenna but he’s really been thrown into a team that is struggling.

We’re going down as must of us thought. The outside media/podcasts really skew perception. George Hirst has been a real miss for us, would be pretty confident of 5/6 more points if we hadn’t have had to flog Delap every week. We’ve not been hammered yet but games against Arsenal/chelsea over Xmas are worrying. There’s not that much between the bottom 6 in terms of quality. Everyone else in the league had some sort of parachute/ prem money/ players from past prem seasons other than us so being competitive is a fair effort.

That said, the journey is better than the destination
Just make sure yous don't get beat off Newcastle please

George Hirst another 5/6 more points 🤣 He’s shite

Said it more than once but Ipswich needed to strenghen at the back and didnt, they were poor defensively last season but could outscore most teams in the Championship then preceded to buy arguably 3 of the best Champ players in the summer in Scmodics, Clarke and Delap without signing any decent defenders, they are entertaining to watch but a basket case at the back and thats what will relegate them.

Do your fans actually realise that he hasn’t been played in his natural position all season? In general I don’t think they do. That they spent 15 million on the best natural winger in the championship and play him inside. You get your width from Davis and as long as that’s the case Clarke was an absolute waste of money. Terrible management imo.

I think the next 4 games will potentially give them a chance to get the points board ticking over.
Or let them know they are out of their depth

Forest Palace Bournemouth Wolves

6/7 out of that would give them something to hold on to

As people have said , it’s those draws they somehow need to turn in to the odd win.
Well that’s going well for them.

Even a broken clock is correct sometimes marra

Most of my football comments tend to be quite middle of the road, with hopefully a bit of common sense involved. People like Murton Mark take the negativity to the extreme cos they’re desperate to shout loud & everybody look at them.

I’m not sure what that threads was, but I avoided making big statements & said what we hoped would be the outcome. They might have been shite. But he was desperate to jump in & tell people he knew better.
