New Music Releases Thread

This Cameron Winter (Geese frontman) solo record is really impressive. His voice is incredible, so unique. Lovely harmonies and songwriting throughout. Obviously it's self indulgent nonsense in parts, but that is sorta what I want from a side project like this. Really good, definitely a late AOTY contender!

New Ryan Adams album. It's the one he talked up releasing 10 years ago then never released, but speculated on it for years before that and did leak bits and pieces over the years

Yep. That's a very decent album though
I thought it was absolutely shite. I love a lot of his stuff, but the ego of the man won't allow him to consign this endless list of unreleased material to the bin where it belongs. These songs sound like he's making them up on the spot. It's 14 records he's put out in 4 years and you could maybe make one good record out of the lot of them, they are the musical equivalent of raking through TK Maxx.

agree on much of his silly number of albums over the last 3 years, but i do think this one is good. The songs on this one are from 15+ years ago which is maybe the difference. Call Me Back is a cracking tune.

I would say the sound quality on this one is quite weird though.

Daniel Blumberg released The Brutalist Original Motion Picture Soundtrack today. Looks like digital only for now at least.
A re-recording of Cinerama's Va Va Voom is also out today. Comes with a live performance of the same album.
