Yes, nice venue. Saw him in Manchester maybe 2 years ago and Birmingham before that. This was superb. The double drumming blew my mind and the guitar during King of Oklahoma was superb.
I thought the sound at the globe was great, I saw him in Manchester a few years ago also and thought he was great there. Just good musicians. What was the crack with people keeling over every 5 minutes

Gruff and bill ryder fantastic tonight. Very melancholy, but I ain't a youngun anymore,so really enjoyed it. Gruff cool as fuck, kliph( drummer),fantastic. Bill so fragile, but such a beautiful soul. Just wanna give him a hug.Spinetingling songs though. Beautiful.
Really enjoyed both sets. Struggled to hear much bass during Gruff, but I was stood pretty close to Kliph.

Gruff's always cool as fuck mate 😎

Fontaines were excellent last night. I wasn’t the only old git there and nobody was wearing a mag top!
Excellent in Nottm last night as well. A few newer songs I'm not keen on, Romance & Modern world but others like Big & Death Kink were class, plenty of old classics as well. I reckon I was oldest one there 😄

Leeds on Tuesday for me, pleasantly surprised to see there are tickets available for £29
We were up on the balcony there the other week its a great venue, excellent view down over the crowd. didnt think much to the Motorpoint Arena in Nottm, good show but it would have been unbelievable doing a couple of nights crammed into Rock City instead

The K's with the daughter (no) tonight at Boro student union - ive not been there since i left uni 23 years ago
A few other mackems will be there tonight... I'm on taxi duties for some of them .

Quite like the K's, they have a few catchy tunes and saw them supporting Blondie at Scarborough a couple of years back. Shame one of them supports the skunks but other than that they're ok. Was canny amusing that one of them (the singer IIRC) was handed a new guitar between almost every song...I suspected because he only knows a few chords and needed it tuned differently for the next one .

A
That the one at the Grove? I was drinking with Rob from the band a few months back and said I'd pop down but my lass is already out that night. Fingers crossed I can get a babysitter.
Aye, think there’s about 10 of us. You’re more than welcome mate.
Not to my knowledge...
Ah, there’s scout 6/7 of my mates went down on a mini bus.
