I'm at Paul Heaton in Wolverhampton on Wednesday as well!I’m in the shithole for The Script (again) tonight.
Got them again tomorrow in Manchester then Paul Heaton Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
When I love a band, I will go to as many gigs as possible. Nothing beats that live music feeling.

Rowetta getting booed by Sunderland fans for saying toon army![]()
They were bloody class. Enjoyed a few cheers around me back of the floor when he mentioned Sunderland.Shed Seven tonight. Sold out city hall.

Royal Otis tonight, wore mag 90s tops for the full set.![]()
I agree, it's easy listening music, our lass likes them so went along to please her.Went myself last night and came on to post exactly the same thing.
I don't know why it's suddenly became a thing. The gig was fairly weak until the last 4 or 5 tunes like. Decent band like but can't see them ever playing bigger venues.
In fairness the drummer had a Toffs old school shirt on and I've seen the lead singer wear that one before at random festivals outside the UK but I just don't suddenly get the Mag love in wearing shirts by random bands every time they come to the NE? The whole band were kitted out.
Fortunately the majority of the crowd were definitely not a "football crowd".
Ali G has let himself goKasabian have really gone downhill.

Thought the setlist was ok but weird that they didn't end on sofa king. I just can't get my head around them coming dressed in mag tops.
I suppose it appeases the thickos, lad in front of me was gushing to his mate that 'they are wearing toon tops.' They're the weirdest set of folk on earth.
Exactly my thoughts on the subject. I was cringing for a fella not far short of 60 wearing a vintage Sunderland shirt at Tom A Smith in Manchester earlier this year.I don't know if it's just the done thing now but there was a few people in the crowd wearing Mag tops as well. I very rarely wear a Sunderland shirt to a Sunderland match; wouldn't even think about wearing one for a Gig.
I find it completely bizarre. Wear the merchandise by any manner (personally haven't bought a t shirt for years but always have a gander) but why make it a "football event". This is a 2020s phenomenon I am sure.Exactly my thoughts on the subject.
