Bet that was superb. Think I've only been there once which was for Majical Cloudz. That was also outstanding. Can remember being stood at the back next to Yannis from Foals. Turns out he's a proper short arse.Setlist fm says St John @ Bethnal Green

Working from home today, and listened to Songs of a Lost World on repeat all day. Beautiful. Sorry Peter Perrett, you're going to have to wait. For any Cure fans

Good to see Roger present
Sounds like the 'album launch show' at the Troxy was absolutely mind-blowing, just 31 tracks in the set list. Possibly up on YouTube, not had time to look yet. There is a 66 page thread on Steve Hoffman, consensus being the live version was stunning v the vinyl and other formats. For any Cure fans

Does that mean you liked it? I don't speak that language. The Primal Scream album is a magnificent folly, like plums in aspic or Walter Sickert in the age of graphic design.

Great list, mine will be really similar I reckon. Nice to see that Villagerrr record on there. It's really good.Uncut 2024 list is out, The Cure in at only 69, I’d have it in a top 20. And my favourite album didn’t make their list at all, they’re clueless
I’m a bit surprised Merce Lemon didn’t get more traction in the press mind, it’s a great album. My top 10…
- Merce Lemon - watch me drive them dogs wild
- Magdelena bay - Imaginal disk
- MJ Lenderman - manning fireworks
- Waxahatchee - Tigers blood
- Bill Ryder Jones - lechyd Da
- Rosali - bite down
- David Nance and Mowed sound
- Villagerrr - Tear your heart out
- The Hard Quartet
- Hayley Henderickx - Seed of a seed
