Feel sorry for any sports person who dedicate their life to their profession and get cut down by injury. Nothing worse or more frustrating. Wish it had worked out for him by staying here and firing us to promotion last season. I think he'd have been a suprise package in the prem too. Good luck...

Catch up? Most were signed on low fees with big sell on clauses.

I just think we've got a ceiling figure of around 3m or so that we'll not go over for a player.

Didn’t he pull up in the warm up v boro with a thigh injury? Was out for about 3 months iirc. Then got fit few a few weeks around Xmas and scored nearly every game til the Fulham game.

Hamstring I think it was , I put his stats up earlier in the thread. Great Centre Forward when fit just a shame how it's all played out for him with the injuries. Hopefully he gets to have a crack at the prem lge with a sustained run of games being fully fit as there's not many about like him imo with his height, mobility and relentless work ethic for the team and he can finish.

speakman doesnt idenitfiy signings...he has no background in that and its not a DOFs role...stuart harvey is the player identifier..though stewart was identified by lee johnson's mate
