4-4-fookin’-2?I f***ing hate it.
And even now he's retired a better player than our record signing was when we signed himBurnley wanting 17mil in compensationmore than our most expensive player signing
Yes but it’s a different offer. His system will work well with and be familiar to a team with higher end players in their divisionThink I wouldn’t be that happy if Kompany was our manager
WOW. That's more than they offered for Jack Clarke£10.2 million compo agreed
That's Danny Rohl and his backroom teamWOW. That's more than they offered for Jack Clarke

No. I think the best managers can adapt to their players or can make players adapt to their system for the first time in their careers. I don’t massively find Kompany interesting, I think he doesn’t have many original ideas. I also think he comes across like a bellendSo he was too good for the players? Absolute crock of shit. Any manager sticking to a system that doesn't work and gets relegated isn't a good manager.
Like a pound shop Biesla.

At the same time, I think his style is designed to work for teams with players at the top end of their league, whether Burnley or Bayern (or Pompey, etc).
So I think you can’t scan across his last season with Burnley to Bayern, you have to look at what he expect of the players. Bayern’s players will be well used to his system and will likely take to it
The inverse might be a Dyche - I think he’s fantastic but I doubt if you gave him Arsenal, he’d get anywhere near where Arteta does. Different managers have different skills
Sam Allardyce hasn’t spent a career working on a particular style that will work with players in those teams. There’s a reason he didn’t get offered that type of job.Every manager in the world would love to conform to that. It's the Big Sam to Barcelona model.
