Kompany to Bayern

No surprise to see he still hasn't learned, with the same issues persisting for the last 6 years.

1-0 up in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, 1-1, even 2-1 down, 2-2 and he STILL can't help but have his defensive line playing on the edge of the opposition box and ultimately end up conceding 5 goals.

Then 2 minutes in tonight and, surprise surprise, PSG score after Bayern give the ball away with their defensive line in the PSG half and can't get back quickly enough to stop the break.

This tie was a really good example of two similarly talented sides but where the tactical superiority of one of the managers was ultimately the difference.

Again, it's 6 years now Kompany has been at this shite. At every club he has gone to. He's never, ever going to change or adapt.

And to think he is the fourth most expensive manager of all-time as Bayern Munich gave Burnley over £10m in compensation for him

Hes done an excellent job at Bayern mind, probably the first step of a rebuild.

They were struggling to win the league and he has made them dominant again and record scorers ever.

He has a fair way to go for the elite level like.

A team gets knocked out of the semi final of the CL in a tie for the ages by a team for the ages and fat bloke from pub offers stinging critique

When one very good team beats another very good team.

It’s not always down to tactics or one manager outthinking another one.

it’s allowed for one team to just play better football over the tie.

There was one goal in the tie, it's not like he got hammered

If Bayern won Enrique would be shit.
Two great teams , both couldn't win.

Two very good sides but PSG are a cut above - they have more quality and depth than Bayern which is why they prevailed.

Player performance decided that tie, not tactics.
