Yann M'vila - target or not?

How on earth do you know that Mvilla not playing has extended his career? For all we know he may not have played because he cant play more than three games in a row. We have no idea.
Im just going on general physiology , he was playing regularly for the last 2 years so there seemed to be no inherent problem .
A lot can be done on getting your body right when you can do stuff designed to restore it not max it out in competition.
That restoration will last so long under test ( barring injury ) hence the extra year .
I mean; dont " know" but i doubt its done his body any harm at 33. As i say that age is still just about prime really or not much over anyway .

Not gonna lie - I'd be ecstatic if we signed M'Vila. Like many, I was pissed off when we didn't sign him last time.
He's exactly what we need, ffs, and he's played at the highest level. He loves us and wants to come here, it's a no brainer.

Mind, I said the same about Jermain Defoe...
Jermain was 38, big difference .

comparing defoe to mvila is lunacy anarl - defoe was about 38 and a striker. Mvila is 33 and a cdm who doesnt really need to run just organise and cut out attacks. get him signed for fuck sake. even if he is shite at least we will have summit to be happy about for a bit

If he would accept a one year deal its a no brainer IMO...

FFS man, I was joking! It was a dig at my own judgement.

Thought it was a bad idea at first, "never go back" and all that.
The more I think about it the more I'd bloody love to see him back, so good a fit it's almost ridiculous.

I'd expect Speakman and his bloody spreadsheets haven't even heard of him.
