Crawshaw comfortably the best red ball batter in the second team this year. Averaging close to 40 with 2 hundreds. A real lack of cricket in the second team this season, hope it can be righted next year. I would love North to be questioned about it, all to do with lack of funding

Slightly surprised at Whitfield as he is a current England u19 and could still go to thr world cup. Having said that had a shocker of a season in the 2nds.

It’s much harder to criticise DCCC than it was a year ago given the brilliant Div 2 win but it still feels as if it’s drifting a little bit from the ethos of it being a club for local lads (Potts aside, most of them are older now).
