Straight delivery and all. We need to sign an opener in the summer, too lightweight in this department for Div 1.
Wouldn't give up on Jones yet. He proved last season and at the beginning of this that he's a capable opening bat.

There's not an alternative at present which is why I'd persist with him. Borthwick would be the alternative of the current availability.Neither Bushnell nor McKinney have pushed on this season as we'd hoped they might. Likewise with the young bowlers.
