CC : Durham vs Sussex


9 down and max three bowling pts in the bag. Been very good stuff from us since Lunch. We also can limit Sussex to just one batting point which also helps the cause.
 
well that was just an excellent perfomance in the field today. Pitch looks good for batting too, but we've been disciplined, built up the pressure on the batters and they've obliged us by throwing their wickets away. They were 100-0 at lunch and only 4 down at tea. Sussex lost 5 wickets for 19 runs in 10 overs after the new ball was taken

it goes to show precisely why we are the favourites for the div 2 title. There wasn't a lot in there for the bowlers, really. Drissell did pretty well to back up the excellent Parkinson.
 
If you lose the toss and made to field on a sunny day like this.

If your batting at the end of day, that's amazing day.

Especially after they were 100 odd for 0.
 
All out for 266.
I reckon that's bad batting rather than amazing bowling, but a great day for Durham.

Potts looks a bit rusty, can only get better.
 
From 110/0 to 266 all out is pretty impressive given that we lost the toss, and Potts, Raine + de Leede have had little to no cricket in August. Tight bowling from Drissell as well, 1/47 from 19.
