England V New Zealand @ Durham

I don't disagree it seems mental to not find a way for him.

But then we wanted Stokes to come out of retirement and he's in the same catergory.

2 blokes fighting for the same point, the man who's already done it before was always going to win.

Wonder how much is IPL has factored into things. One great innings the rest were not.
Yeah could be as overall he bad IPL, but just my personal opinion he is going to be hell of a player.

Would always have Stokes in before nearly everyone so no issue there.

Would have been tempted personally to not pick Roy and open with Malan.

As although Roy has very good 50 over cricket record just concerned he not the same player as he once was and his form in other white ball cricket although not 50 overs is still an indication of form and it’s not good.

But get it’s a tight call and Roy’s previous 50 over record.

But disagree he in form mind

All valid points. But Stokes retired, and decided he wanted to rejoin for the big stage, and it's not something I agree with as it means Brook is missing out because Stokes reversed his decision. Feel we stood a monumental chance without Stokes in all honesty. But it it wasn't for Livingstone's bowling ability in this format he'd be the obvious choice to take out
Well that's more the point for me really.

Stokes definitely selfish as his value to the side isn't the same as it was in 2019. As he can't bowl.

He'll also be batting 4 instead of 5. A position that really got the best out of him in the run up to 2019 and obviously during that world cup.

Pundit raised the point about loyalty being stretched too far, very relevant tonight.

Bairstow can’t keep getting in the team because of his pre-leg break history.

I don’t buy into the “he’s an opener” or “he’s a 4”, Brook is the better batsman, if he has to open to get in the team, then he should be in ahead of Bairstow. If he has to change his game slightly then so be it.

He's our most destructive and best batsmen in the one day format and it should all be built around him

Bairstow better than Roy imo

Good game, shame about the traffic on the way in. Ended up missing the first over but still some good performance there. I was upset at Johnny getting out mind you.

BTW me and the washy crew didn't tak of any jaws the neet so rest easy lads and lasses

Missed the NZ innings bit saw us bat. Looks like a good T20 debut for Carse.

Comprehensive win for us. Wondered why Broad wasn't commentating...turns out he's joined the soccer lot as a pundit analysing the Nottingham Forest game.

He’s been canny to be fair as he congratulate Anderson on Burnley’s win

Carse got man of the match for his excellent spell, mixing top pace and slow stuff .
Ridiculous tonight, how can you ask for international cricket and be that bad
Always think it’s better to get tanked up outside the ground . Just so many people inside as it always leads to queues

What was that on? Everton were the featured game as far as I could see
