Greenwood's future

Should have been banged up and fired … in any other profession but football that would have been the case.

Hasn’t he just had a baby with the lady in question as well?

Yeah and her dad come out immediately and tried to brush the rape audio under the carpet. Considering that's her dad who clearly enjoys a millionaire son-in-law and that he broke bail conditions with no consequence to meet her repeatedly then the poor girl had no chance of escaping from the cycle of abuse. Now she's going marry him after immediately getting knocked up. It's sad tbh.

Mental really when you see what’s gone on and even with all of the evidence Man Utd have to “decide” about what to do with a character like that …

Mind blowing really

They're waiting to check with the lasses away for their world cup if they can stomach him staying.
And this is the absolute proof that they’re serious about bringing him back, if it was a no they wouldn’t need to consult

I detest that club but even I thought they’d be above this, I understand with no charge it’s hard to sack him without paying off his desk but I think it’s one of those for the moral point of view you just have to cut your losses and leave it to anyone else stupid enough to take him on

If you remember the furore for the first few clubs to try take on Ched Evans on release prior to his conviction being overturned I think in this case it would be amplified several times over with sponsors pulling out and critics given the profile of club and player, people will try say he hasn’t been found guilty or anything but be real we all know what he is

Mason: Move your f***ing legs up!

Harriet: No! I don't want to have sex!

M: I don't give a fuck what you want, you little shit.

H: Mason!

M: Shut up. Stop talking to me. Stop!

H: Stop putting your dick near me.

M: I'm going to fuck you, you twat!

H: I don't want to have sex with you!

M: I don't care if you don't want f***ing sex with me, do you hear me?

H: Why do you have to do this, though?

M: Cause I asked you politely and you wouldn't do it!

H: (Inaudible. Something about sex with other people?)

M: I asked you politely and you wouldn't do it so what else do you want me to do?

H: Then go and fuck someone else.

M: I don't want to fuck someone else!

H: You do.

M: No I don't.

M: Push me again one more time and watch what happens to you.

H: No.

M: Well, you will actually.
I've not heard the tape, not sure if this is a whoosh? If it's not then WTF???!!!!

20 year old idiot who’s probably had smoke blown up his ass for years. His missus should have fucked his life, but must be in love or something.
Let the innocent of any crime little scumbag play football. Don’t think there’s any other answer in a reasonable society. Would like to think they’re in love and youngsters learning their way. Would happily kick him in the face too.

This is modern day life right here - people being outraged on other people’s behalf.

The tape is horrible - but the person who should be outraged is his partner and her family.

She clearly isn’t - not sure why anyone else has the responsibility or even the right to be outraged on her behalf!?

Because he could quite easily do the same to other people having walked free?

Fair point.

That all becomes a bit minority report though right - convicting a man for a crime he might commit, not one he actually has.

Don’t get me wrong if he was my son in law I would have been outraged and had a word. But he isn’t

Sadly that’s not the case, successful rape prosecution is pretty rare regardless of profession and in this instance the key witness withdrew the statement making it almost impossible. Sadly abusive relationships are very difficult to leave, on average people experiencing domestic violence leave their partners around eleven times before actually remaining separated. I hope he has reflected and is rehabilitated and that they are happy but suspect that’s not the case.

Any male could be charged with this sort of offence simply by a pissed up woman complaining to police. It could be me, my son, my mate etc. Given his high profile, I'm sure that if there had been evidence to prosecute (& find guilty) the case would've continued. For me, same as any worker anywhere he returns to work. Over the years I can recall, Steve Moran, Mark Wright, Jonny Evans, our own Titus (brother took the rap I recall) all being charged. Ched Evans etc.
For me, move on, let him play

You need to read into why the case never went ahead.

Innocent until proven guilty because thankfully money and power has never made any difference in the world and therefore life is 100% just and people, no matter how many resources they have at hand, are always punished for their wrongdoings and therefore we don't have to worry about that morality nonsense.

So if you saw some lass getting a beating in the street you would think it acceptable if she said she was fine? Jesus man!

No but my reaction would be dictated by her probably. If she said help I’d help. If she said I’m fine I’d probably be more diplomatic. I’d respect her views - would you not? Jesus man
