Pitch is way too good to be choosing to bowl first. As long as the Aussies score 350+ they can’t really lose the game with the amount of rain around over the next few days.

The fact that's even being said shows it was a shit decision to bowl.

You don't expect hook shots first ball for 6 if your bowling first in England.

You expect the slips and keeper in the game.

Another struggling to understand putting them in. I heard on SKY that it was partially due to the forecast implying limited play on days 4 & 5 so it gave England the better chance of winning the game quickly if they bowled them out cheaply, but that approach could also see the Ashes gone by tomorrow tea time!
