With Tongues and Wood again?Nowt like a moaning fanny.
Anderson for Robinson with his injury. Stokes said he was resting Anderson for the next test. I'd be shocked if he didn't play tbhNo I really wouldn’t play Anderson. Should no room for sentiment. Had we lost or drew today I’d have said yes.
What's Manchester like as a wicket keeper? If he is playing well, he deserves his chance
I said we would win. Fannies everywhere still moaning man![]()
Owzat? If not Manchester then try Trafford the U21 keeper.
What about the cricket?Tongue up one end. Wood up the other end. 5 days of excitement.
Still got mine.
Don’t see many at CLS these days, used to spot a few here and there when we first got them.Still got mine.
Aye. There's a few seem to forgot how massive yesterdays session was.Weather was man of the match for us . Getting at them after the rain was a god send , might have had at least another 50 to chase without .
Literally nothing different about how England played all 3 tests mind. Had England lost there'd be no mention of anything being any different. We all get the exciting and expansive cricket but it has to be coupled with common sense and game management...Australia won 2 tests by our over thinking and being too clever..this Australia team are good but they have flaws and as we've seen today beatable...this result today could be massive psychological shift for England...but you have to take your chances when they are presented.
True, but those saying it’s always worked for us this series have also forgotten what there was of day three at Edgbaston which certainly shifted the momentum of that game.Aye. There's a few seem to forgot how massive yesterdays session was.
I reckon if we'd bowled at them first thing still dry it would have been 3-0 . Still " thats cricket " as they sayAye. There's a few seem to forgot how massive yesterdays session was.
Not happening, it’s written in the ECB’s rules , regulations and playing conditions, never to give Durham another test.
Oh without a doubt. But like all great teams evolution is part of the process. They’ve just chased 250+ successfully for the fifth time out of six, scoring at over 5s, even if they did shred our nerves a bit in the process. Like this one, all but one of those other chases were at at least four and a half, making this England team responsible for more then 50% of all such chases in test history.
Just 24 months ago the England of old declined to chase 270 at well under 4s because “the most important thing is not to lose”. Boring us all rigid in the process. Who can really say they prefer that?
Glory hunting. If he'd left it to Boland it would have been an easy catch.Lol suck on that Alex.
Disgusting.3 great games. No Ashes tests in the north next time?!![]()
From last weekBefore the series I predicted every Test would be close with Australia winning them all and the series ending 5-0.
So far, so good...
