No one wants that. I’m saying there’s ways to stop it ever getting to that stage but the club and more importantly the police routinely fail to do their jobs. It doesn’t happen anywhere near as often at Newcastle.

As people have said though, a lot of things are likely smuggled in by kids under 18. Not much can be done about that, I believe.

I may be wrong but it’s up to clubs the level of police presence they’re willing to pay for for games. Perhaps we aren’t willing to pay for that presence either

Thing is , the reality of the situation is that the away fans aren't being moved until at least the 24/25 season... It's not going to happen for next season... So we have the rest of this season plus all of next season, and it's 99% certain to happen again, several times , between now and the end of next season.

It can't possibly go on without eventually seriously hurting someone

What are the club hoping to achieve? They could have a net up by the start of next season at least it's something

I'm not saying they are deffo moving. I'm saying they deffo aren't moving next season. So we have AT LEAST all of this season and next season to simply hope nothing happens. That's on the assumption they'll move in 24/25 season, which is unlikely in itself

It's been said a million times , the coppers can veto it..and they clearly will as they have put the blockers on it now
