Trouble again

I remember bother outside Windmills after the 0-0 game at RP. Think it was the day we "took the Fulwell".
Nah, 90's this was i think.
We were at city tavern at the bottom , watching them come towards us at a snails pace. A mad sunderland fan(Castletown lad), ran at them by himself. Somehow got away with not getting a hiding n'all. They got to where we were and just stopped. It was weird as out. Dunno what video you watched. The chronicle probably filmed a re-enacment where they brayed us.
JC the Castletown lad?
Not ringing any bells. I sat with your fans at the 1-2, Liam O'Brien free kick, game. Never been in a hurry to do it again.
Pure hatred inside Roker Park that game like. Kicking off all over.

Tbf, it was a rearranged game that kicked off at 12.30.

We were talking to a few Millwall fans before and after the game and they were really good craic.
Big lad with flat cap, Gucci scarf , umbrella and man bag ( speaker for the entertainment inside) ring any bells?

The first match we played against the mags at the SOL it seemed like every man and his dog was out for that one.

Roker avenue seemed to empty and hundreds went running down Bridge st to meet a big group of Mags being escorted over the bridge.

There was an article on the Paul Dodds website written by a couple of Leeds fans who just came up to watch the off field action who clearly stated they’d never seen such a mob as we had out that day , they reckoned we would have battered anyone .

No doubt Newcastle would have a different point of view.
Everyone was hammered and double over spewing the drink up when they all ran up bridge street towards the escort 😁😁

I think what stopped sunderland being more highly regarded was the organisation. You had seaburn and the townies squabbling for years, and sunderland finally got serious when these two sets of lads got together. Unstoppable on our day, but it wasn't very often that everything came together. The likes of boro were highly organised, dunno how people can be arsed to be honest.

About 200 mags turned up in the town without any coppers there. Defoe beauty goal game. Only about 10 sunderland fronted them outside the city tavern .mackem 1989 was there, he'll confirm 8 . ive deleted my reply

Vauxie boys were sound, but used to let the mags take the p#ss at roker. Seaburn didn't.
Yep. 1992, the year it turned imo.
..it is. Never, ever turned up at the sol. Roker Park, yous 'took the Fulwell' late 80's..n that's it. Mags have never turned up at Sunderland.
They have mind. Was it around early 2000, first time they at SOL, about 100 of them off the train in the town. Got to the Bridge, f***ing hel on. Was all their older lads.

That ‘Green Street’ Skylon comment about Vauxies is utterly ridiculous. Absolutely clueless. I can see him jumping up and down now saying ‘let’s have it’. Vauxies never asked that question…

The Mags did little in and around the immediate vicinity of Roker although they may have trashed a few flower beds round Fulwell way at times…you need to look at the position of Roker compared to the SOL and SJP through there…Vauxies took no nonsense and many still follow SAFC home and away..infact you could rightly say they still exist as such..many are booked up for Millwall for starters….

..it was 200 couple hrs ago  😜
I'm not on about the Defoe game mate.
The first game at SOL , a handy sized mob got off at the town. Only a few coppers with th3m. I have no idea what the daft mag s going in about lambton worm , these were off the train then straight to the bridge. We were all drinking in the boozer opposite the imps in lambton street, can I fuck remember it's name. We got wind of it and we're into them at the church before the bridge. By the time the coppers managed to get them over the bridge, there was 100s of Sunderland trying to get into them. The coppers had to form a shield around them, they were shitting it. Any mag saying otherwise is deluded.
A well known seaburn lad had some lads with him from Leeds, they said they'd seen nowt like it.

You'll get accused of being a 'green street' by the berk a few posts up mind. Thinks only the vauxies ever had a scrap .Cannot handle the fact it was seaburn started repelling the mags. Utter no nowt

Weren't a few of them on a bus on the bridge, and chucked a chair out of the bus at Sunderland lads, then ran off the bus. Sure that was the same game.

Not what I saw mate. The town lads were the first ones into them, by chance. By the time they got over the other end of the bridge, every man and his dog was there. Tbf, they were game as fuck at the start. Not so much at the other end. They looked shaken.

Wasn't that Forest? I remember a bus going past and a seat being hoyed out next to the Wheatsheaf. I was standing having a pint, talking to my mate and then there's a load of Forest piling off a bus, hoying a seat. Knew we should have gone to the Wharf for the strippers instead.

Best post of the thread mate and spot on, there was no questions, prancing or chasing.Tight knit group and still are all good mates. It's actually just the Beehive Boys with another name.Anyway never took any nonsense from the mags.Only time I have seen the mags have a go was 68/69ish when they got in the Fulwell early doors assisted by the old bill, but they were pushed out eventually, long story, weapons hid in the Fulwell the night before, Roker Ave boys first on the scene etc etc.
Yes I believe zimmers are out for the Millwall game, Bushwhackers beware lol.
