Trouble again

Best post of the thread mate and spot on, there was no questions, prancing or chasing.Tight knit group and still are all good mates. It's actually just the Beehive Boys with another name.Anyway never took any nonsense from the mags.Only time I have seen the mags have a go was 68/69ish when they got in the Fulwell early doors assisted by the old bill, but they were pushed out eventually, long story, weapons hid in the Fulwell the night before, Roker Ave boys first on the scene etc etc.
Yes I believe zimmers are out for the Millwall game, Bushwhackers beware lol.
Still couldn't stop roker getting swarmed by the mags on numerous occasions. Seaburn 'casualties' (your words)stopped it though. Some canny lads amongst the vauxies, but they were of their time.

Perhaps Vaux had to step up as the casualties weren't up to taking over the mantle.
As you say 'their time' which was 60's,70's,early 80s after that it should have been a younger firm leading the line but it never happened I'm told. The topic came up last year when I was over in UK and catching up with the lads, they said the seaburns were game for a while but faded and hence the name casualties.Talked to a few online last night asked when it was they allowed the mags to take the piss response to the accusation was a tad bemused.
They are happy to discuss and debate though.

Funny thing you call them casualties. Yet one in your photo travels on a bus with the a fair few of them still or he did until recently well actually a few of them.

Also another few Vauxies still drink with seaburn lads and are pals.

Think “seaburn” was used in reality a lot of the lads were townies, other north siders, Washington,Durham etc etc but a collective name. I only came about in 2003. so can’t comment earlier.

I do know that majority of vauxie lads will know skylon and I’ve no doubt he will have had this discussion with them.

I‘m sure that’s the time they were escorted back to Seaburn to get on the train back to Newcastle, then were thrown off at East Boldon then caused mayhem with all the old dears shopping down at the station.

Saw them all outside the Beacon again

Would love to know where the police are. Someone could get seriously injured  from the tap dancing
The Tories sacked the Police off got rid of 25k nationwide. Then pretended to replace these
Gillbridge & Farra shut as a result of said cuts. Oh i forgot we have a Police shop in Waterloo Place.
There are no Police to deploy thats why there arent Police about after the game

Nah, 90's this was i think.

JC the Castletown lad?

Pure hatred inside Roker Park that game like. Kicking off all over.
He got lifted cos I saw him in shields station when I was checking in...
You'll get accused of being a 'green street' by the berk a few posts up mind. Thinks only the vauxies ever had a scrap .Cannot handle the fact it was seaburn started repelling the mags. Utter no nowt

Weren't a few of them on a bus on the bridge, and chucked a chair out of the bus at Sunderland lads, then ran off the bus. Sure that was the same game.
I've heard ya talk with an American twang like

Call that trouble

smoggies playing spurs on a Monday night

I’m in a bar full of mutants

spurs score first

GTFI I shouted

if looks could’ve killed that night I was. a dead man

They clipped some lad and his bird as they were going back to Seaburn Station. That's about as much as I can remember.
I was fairly drunk mind so its a bit of a blur, that particular evening.

After Port Vale it was my mate (posts on here) and his sister. They were walking ahead of me as I'd popped into windmills for a slash. As I left the pub and was walking up to Seaburn Station I could see about 50 of the Gremlins coming towards me so just cracked on, took a bit of a kicking but at least stayed on my feet. Met up with the others, my mate had taken a few digs and they'd spat on his sister. We walked to the Brit in Cleadon and I think got a taxi home from there. I've posted about this on here before, a while back.

It was March in 1970 when they were in the Fulwell in huge numbers early on.I’ve often wondered why the police allowed them to enter.Huge numbers arriving so early should have set alarm bells ringing. This is the only incident of them being in the Fulwell in huge numbers in the last 75 years.

At the same time they were closing Gillbridge Northumbria’s finest were moving into a new 40 million quid headquarters behind the central station, while we ended up with a cupboard in Waterloo Place.
All without a murmer from our MP’s and Councillors.

Was too young for 85 however know some Washy mags who say they took the roker from videos they ran in shouted Newcastle and ran out?

That exactly what happened?

Think they got there early rather than a quick dart in. United goes up. A fight breaks out and they make their way to front onto the pitch. Fair play for going in I suppose, if that's your thing.

If they say they took the Roker they were right cos that's what end they were in.. About 60 ot 70 got in the Fulwell early but didn't stay long, ran down the front and onto the pitch when it kicked off, ran the gauntlet of coins and a few punches on the way back to their own end. Most of them were from Durham, knew a good few of them from Bishop Auckland.
