Why haven’t we made the choice if that’s a case? He can sign a contract with a club from Jan onwards
You said this before and I asked how you know we hadn't and you just blanked everybody.

The club have said he has x amount left because of the extension. Why wouldnt we have activated it?

He will definitely be sold but you have some weird obsession over the extension clause

Speakman has said plainly we have the option. Maybe we will trigger it December 31st? No idea why it wasn’t been done but it seems a crazy thing to lie about.

Keep saying it mate, none of us know what his agent is saying/advising in this scenario? Anyone know who his agent is? Frequently agents are prone to advise in order to satisfy themselves financially, rather than telling their clients what is best for them. For an agents bank balance its often more productive to keep encouraging the player to move around. Whilst SAFC cannot be held to ransom, conversely they really need to keep the post Wembley/promotion feelgood factor alive, and whilst accepting every player has his price etc., it would be a psychological hammer blow to the club and playing and coaching staff and the fan base were Ross to leave imminently.

We are attracting nearly 40k home attendances which is absolutely phenomenal in the second tier after two relegations and four seasons in league one. These people will not keep attending in these numbers if they have their belief taken away by selling our better players without a real fight. The ball is clearly in the court of KLD and his fellow board members to make sure how this situation develops without, one way or another, killing the fans current relative sense of optimism at the direction the club is heading in-as a footnote they should bear in mind the way our better players such as Clarke, Roberts, Ballard, Pritchard, Cirkin etc. would feel if Stewart were to leave and/or not adequately replaced.......
Your last point is a great one -bad enough for us supporting the club but for those playing they also need to see continued progress and commitment from the board
