yes but any evidence that they are offeirng more than safc?
there is apparently a media report saying boro offering 20k a week and safc offering 25k a week..any evidence otherwise?
boro dont have any money..

bioro offeirng him 30 grand a week? doubt they have that to pay him..
What 'evidence' do you mean man?

If Stewart leaves we will sign one striker to replace him. And then we'll add further strikers in the summer. I'd love to know just how much of an increase Stewart has been offered, id imagine it's a fair one.

The bloke has achieved fuck all in his career, so I'm hoping he's not getting too big for his boots here.

I would have hoped we could have moved on and up together, but if he wants to go, let him go, just get the right price and a good replacement. I love his attitude during a game, never seems to give up, I would be curious to know how much ground he covers in a game

Nowhere near what Boro have offered.

I doubt he’d go to Boro tbh. Even if they offered him 40k a week, he will know that it would ruin any legacy he’d have with us.

I know people will say that money is a driving force but a lot of players also want to be welcomed back to their former clubs when they retire.

Agree, he wont go to Boro.

Most fees are 'undisclosed' it's neither a new thing or exclusive to SAFC.

Whilst I agree with you in that we've been conditioned into thinking selling is the way forward and fine, it makes no sense to be selling Stewart for peanuts when were spending decent fees to get the likes of Clarke here or investing in young talent - all those cost real money and haven't come in for free or for no wages.

You seem to be insisting that money isn't being invested or utilised and anyone with half a brain can seen it has been, even going back to last season and last January when you look at the players coming in, the levels they were at and the wages they will have been on.

I'd rather wait a bit longer and see what happens than rely on the endless shit sources people on here get their knickers in a twist over.
Ignore him, he's a Mag.

I've seen some convoluted attempts to defend the "management" recently, but you take a whole packet of biscuits.

They knew exactly what they were representing, and what they were in fact doing. There's a reason it was all done via offshore corporate vehicles where it was more difficult to identify the shareholdings. There's also a reason they went so long without plainly stating "KLD owns X% of the shares".

That he pretty much only increased his stake to the bare minimum that he needed to, to rectify the dishonesty, tells it's own story. None of them - including him - are here because they have an intention to meaningfully invest.
Oh shut up man you utter f***ing bore.
I thought the wage budget was maxed out?
Obviously not if we've offered Stewart improved terms you utter loon.
How do you know this?
He doesn't.
No we don't we sold maja before we replaced him with will Grigg & payed well over the odds for him because Wigan new we were desperate to sign him that's why we paid £4 million quid.

Spot on
We didn't pay £4m for Grigg. If you want to have a pop at the club get your facts right.
This is my worry, basically the scouting has to be top notch or we go backwards.
And how are we doing so far?

Not sure what that's got to do with anything? It means the recruitment team have been doing a bloody good job and I have every faith they'll attract a player like Stewart again, whether he's a "nodbody" or not
The recruitment team know more about players out there than we do. They will source another unknown entity with talent.

Age comes into it also,if we trigger the extra year he will be heading for 29 when the extension ends.He is being badly advised here, for gods sake sign the contract here Ross,or continue on low wages for the foreseeable future. The agent is after lining his own pockets at your expense .
